Hawkeye is an intolerant fool who I came across on Aus Boards. On one of his earliest posts he called for the banning of berka's in Australia. That pretty much set his tone - decidedly anti Muslim. He was even accused of being Hitler's love child.

I first collided with him on a thread about Muslims having their own court - which I disagreed with. His argument was similar, but he was all about;

“When is Australia finally going to stand up and say enough is enough, take off the berka treat your women with respect or [beep!] off”

I gave it to him with both barrels for that, and he responded with what I later called the perfect oxymoron;

“Wrong berka's should be gone, what does it represent anyway? This is Australia land of the free”

And just to add to the stupid meter;

“Muslim doesn't equal Australian.”

I think my response at the time said it all.

“Hawkeye, you are the perfect example of the intolerance that holds this country back. I suggest you go and suck a lemon before you post again - because you are simply making a fool of yourself. You don't believe in real freedom - and don't deny that because in all the above quotes, especially the first one - you proved it with your own words. And that being the case, you are the one who isn't Australian IMHO.”

Hawkeye's subsequent posts were along the same lines - preaching his racist crap (and denying he was racist along the way when it was obvious to anyone with half a brain that he was) and even supporting Pauline Hanson's views for crying out loud! It got to the point that he pushed the Australian culture button so hard he uttered this reprehensible rubbish;

“I shouldn't and will not change my ways for foreigners, if they don't like what I have to say leave my country”

He claimed to represent the views of the majority (if that was true Pauline Hansons would be PM and Australia would be suffering at the hands of race riots all over the place), amongst other stupid things and I gave it to him again.

“We want everyone who is a good person. That includes Muslims. Anyone who denies access to this country on the basis of religion is a discriminator and a vilifier. Who am I describing in that last sentence? You, Hawkeye. I won't give it a rest - because people like you need to be exposed for what you are. Intolerant on the basis of religion and an inciter of hatred. Live with it, and do the country a favour and STFU!”

To that this idiot again claimed that the majority of Australians felt as he did (and got three very quick rebuttals before I even got my next word in) and then made the remark that got my goat good and proper.

“I suggest you leave Australia as your views are the complete opposite to what Australians believe.”

He kept this rhetoric up every time, as it was about this time that the Cronulla Riots occurred and he was backing up the Aussies against the Lebanese predictably. And I told him one more crack and I'd be taking further action. And I also started calling him (accurately) a white supremisist. That got his goat a bit as he then demanded that I stop posting on the subject at hand. And he was insulted by the "white supremisist" tag, to which I told him he was sure as heck acting like one!

He then took advantage of my views on Anzac Day, and repeated his "leave the country" line. I had him on ignore at the time as he also stated that for my views I should be banned - while in the same breath claiming a threat to HIS freedom! And then;

“Why Timelord should we Australians compromise? You come here live by our rules and our cultures or as Costello said LEAVE. Take the hint Timelord”

And I snapped;

“HAWKEYE!!!! Look at my avatar. LOOK AT IT!!!! That's there for a reason! Now if you tell me to leave one more time I'm going to insist that you be removed from this forum. You have obviously assumed that I am an immigrant. I was born in Melbourne, Australia. I have NEVER even visited another country! Because I CAN'T!!!! DO NOT TELL ME TO LEAVE AGAIN!!!!”

The avatar was the one with the Australian flag with an angry smiley pointing at it - and the word "trapped". That post got the right sort of attention and when Hawkeye posted again on March 9 he was suspended for a week.

When he came back he tried to suck me into an offered olive branch. But he never backed down enough and I knocked it back. Then he paid attention for a moment and noticed I was an Aspie.

He ran off. His posts on the High Brow Forum dried up after that - probably because he knew that he'd been exposed as not just a racist, but a general minority discriminator.

Hawkeye is not Aspie Friendly
